Хорошая статья на вики про Блэквэла. Несколько фактов:
- в 58 году 21-летний Блэквэл на своём катере напоролся на коралловый риф, еле живой добрался до берега, где был спасён растафарианцами. - на съёмках "Dr. No" был ассистентом продюсера. - мать Блэквэла была любовницей Яна Флеминга. - Бобу Марли и The Wailers записал и выпустил первый альбом не имея с ними контракта, просто по тому что его спасли раста-братья (см. выше). - в настоящее время владеет множеством отелей, студий звукозаписи, и выпускает ром

Серёж, а знаете, какая самая важная из его студий сейчас? Это COMPASS POINT STUDIO на Багамах, в Нассау. Там много кто из интересных людей записывался, в т.ч. DIRE STRAITS. Растафарианец, значится? Ишь ты, вот ведь как его занесло..

Жалко, только, закрылись они уже в сентябре 2010 г.
 Их объявление:We can now announce that, as of last September, Compass Point Studios ceased operations in Nassau, Bahamas. The reason was not one of economics, or of a lack of business...in fact at the time, we had most of 2011 booked by very high end artists...rather the closing was because of a series of incidents which had occurred in the recent past, socio-political-based happenings which made it untenable to continue doing business in The Bahamas. All involved agreed that we could no longer bring our friends and clients into an atmosphere which we knew to be threatening. The incidents shall remain private at this time. All involved in Compass Point Studios will continue to work within the music business, just as always before...simply, not in The Bahamas. Until a final location for operations is decided, musical work will be carried out at personal and third-party locations. Thank you so much to all artists, producers, engineers, labels and crews who have cohabited with us in our iconic studios. The relationships we have forged with so many of you will be cherished forever, and we look forward to working with you again in even better locations. Значит, на Багамах жизнь больше не сахар
