Вот такая инфо на англ. сравнивают Pio 5080HD и Panas 50PZ700U :
The Pioneer rep was at Best Buy yesterday. The 5080HD and the 50PZ700U were not close enough for a good comparison. However, he set up a comparison between a Pioneer Elite PRO-1150HD and the Panasonic TH-50PZ750U, playing Pioneers demonstration clips at 1080i. I wanted to see what I would be losing by going with 768/720p instead of 1080p. The Panasonic was on top and the Pioneer was below. Both were set in Standard mode.
I have no expertise or experience in judging picture quality. Im just trying to decide which one to buy, based on nothing more than my impression as to which has the better picture.
1. I could see differences between the sets on some material, but the differences were not always significant. While the Pioneer rep was installing his equipment, I watched an auto race on ESPN HD. I could see differences in the colors of the cars and the track, but the differences were noticeable only because I was doing a side-by-side comparison. In other words, if I were watching the race and not the colors of the cars and the track, I probably would not be bothered by the differences.
2. The color on the Pioneer was much better. One of the clips was a gold-colored embroidered cloth. On the Pioneer it was gold. On the Panasonic it was yellow-gold.
3. I could see a difference between 1080i on the Panasonic and 1080i on the Pioneer at a distance of eight feet. Consequently, Im going to wait to see the 5010FD before I buy. Although my current television is five years old, I kept its predecessor for fifteen years. I dont want to buy another set in three years because I should have bought 1080p now.
4. In his review of the TH-50PZ750U, the HD Guru wrote: “The TH-50PZ750’s color accuracy was the best I have seen on a plasma display and it was the only panel evaluated that produces a true red.” One of the clips was a red Ferrari. Since Ive seen red Ferraris, I have an impression of the red on a Ferrari. On the Pioneer it was red. On the Panasonic it was red with an orange tint. (If the Panasonic is professionally calibrated, will the Ferrari be red?)
So, where am I? Im going to wait to see the 5010FD. Otherwise, Im still undecided. While I think that the Pioneer has a better picture, the Panasonic is not out. If a professionally calibrated Panasonic will show me a red Ferrari, I may find it hard to justify the difference in price between a 5010FD and the 700/750U.
