That 6moons, Ocellia article is interesting, and definitely represents some independent thinking! What really piques my interest is the "tone box" construction for some of those cabinets. Rather than the normal thinking of rigid, inert, and "non-coloring", some of their speakers take the polar opposite approach with cabinet construction that resembles an acoustic guitar or bass body more than a conventional speaker cabinet. These babies are meant to resonate, and are made of really thin wood, with "musical resonance" in mind. I know Harbeth speakers tout thinner cabinet walls, but I've never seen anything like this stuff before. I'd love to hear them. Srajan Ebaen seemed to be knocked-out, enthusiastic about the Ocellia stuff.
