Hi i dont know if i am the first person who visits this forum to try to connect it via the DVI interface or not but i can tell you if i would have known then what i know now i would never have bought this set!!!! When i first bought it i thought it was the a great set and i thought that one good material it had to be one of the best out there right now (not alot to compare to though) But then i bought a samsung hd745 and tried to hook it up via dvi and i got a horrible picture!!! so after hours of messing around i took back the dvd player and proceeded to buy the yammy 375 (after unbeatable refunded me on 745)and a monster dvi cable from the states!!!! plugged it all in set it up and guess what the same thing again!!!! spoke to thomson and got passed about only to be told in the end that the set is faulty and that there may never be a fix for it and to get a refund on it!!!!!!
so for all you people who want to buy it DONT!!!!!!!!!!
Trust me i have been thru everything with the head of thomson aftercare for the uk this set has hdcp and they confirmed that all thomson dly645's have the problem and that they are working on a fix but recomended me to get a refund!!!! says it all really"
