Region Free Hack:

1. Remove any disc currently in the unit.
2. Power off using the front panel On/Off button (not standby).
3. Press and hold Stop and Pause.
4. Keep the above buttons held and Power-up the player using the On/Off button,
hold the above buttons until the players name disappears from the front panel.
5. Wait until the unit finishes LOADING and the front panel of the player shows 0:00:00.
6. On the remote handset, press in sequence; 7 3 1 9 4 6 2 8
7. The unit should enter standby mode. On the front panel of the player, press the Standby button to turn the unit back on.
8. To confirm the update, press on the front panel Stop and Skip Forward (>>I).
The front panel should briefly display “Region_A2”. If not, then repeat the process 1-7 above.

Для Денон-ов так, вроде. Странно, регион обычно не слетает при прошивке.

Для Денон-ов так, вроде. Странно, регион обычно не слетает при прошивке.

Вот ещё есть информация про лазер, не совсем понял, для чего нужно:
1) Turn power off with small power button.
2) Turn on power with small power button while pressing and holding down PLAY and OPEN/CLOSE. Tray will open. Close tray. (PLAY and PAUSE indicators are lit on display).
3) Enter TEST MODE by pressing similtaneously: STOP and SKIP FWD.
4) Press SKIP FWD repeatedly to go to various menus of the testmode. Go to: T2 LASERONOFF
5) Press "PLAY" to select
6) Press SKIP FWD to go to CD or DVD.
7) Press "PLAY" to select. Displayed is (see below):
T21 mmmm_nnnn (for CD)
T22 mmmm_nnnn (for DVD)
8) Press "STOP" to go back one level.
9) Press "STOP" and "SKIP FWD" to exit test mode.
10) Turn off power before continuing.

mmmm = initial laser current (mm.mm mA)
nnnn = present laser current (nn.nn mA)

If present current is more than 150% of initial current then replace traverse unit. Please note: After replacing laser the initial current must be reset to the new value via other commands. Thus, this test may not be valid if you previously replaced the laser without resetting the initial current value in the memory.

Лазер стоит дёшево, но как откалибровать? Кто менял сам, пишут что, то СД не играет, то наоборот ДВД, да и процедура сложная. Пишут, что легче купить полностью механизм/OPTICAL DVD PICK-UP

DIMA NETU, судя по всему это тест для измерения силы тока лазера , при повышении более чем на 150% надо менять лазер вместе с траверсой. Я протестил свой ,значения уползают за 150%

. Действительно смущает цена на лазер в сборе с механизмом ок. 25$ , можт есть оригинальные и неоригинальные? Хотелось бы сразу поставить хороший ,а не кетайское гам.. Интересна любая инфа по этим вопросам. И datasheet.

Действительно всё так просто?

Как пишут американцы:"..The 3930CI and 2930CI use similar (but not equal) traverse units. As this unit has the laser pickup and the servo motors, it is not clear the origin of the problem. It could be mechanical misalignment, laser faults or both. It is related that replacing the traverse unit solves the problems related to hybrid SACD reading."

Проблема может быть и в головке и в механике, поэтому рекомендуют менять целиком, поскольку этот блок откалиброван на заводе. У блока совсем другая цена
The traverse unit for the 3930 is part number #9KA2A692 and is available for $111.
The traverse unit for the 2930 is part number #9KA2A693 and is available for $81.

Я вот тут нашёл laser pickup подешевле и в Россию шлют

Теперь репу чешу,подойдёт или нет? На avsforum пишут именно про эту "деталь". У некоторых получалось заменить без механической настройки винтами.

Сомненья гложут. будет ли сия деталь корректно работать .
